Biography:

Charles Driscoll is a Distinguished Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Syracuse University. He also directs the Center for Environmental Systems Engineering. Dr. Driscoll's research has been supported by major grants from NSF (including an LTER grant), EPA, EPRI, the Dreyfus Foundation, the Keck Foundation, and other agencies and businesses. He has authored or co-authored more than 200 peer-reviewed publications and serves on the editorial board for Environmental Science and Policy. He is a member of the boards of directors of the Hubbard Brook Research Foundation and the Upstate Freshwater Institute. He regularly provides briefings to Congressional committees on a range of environmental issues.
