| Edward
Bogucz became executive director of the New York Center of Excellence
in Environmental Systems in August 2003. Previously, Dr. Bogucz
served more than eight years as dean of SU’s College of Engineering
and Computer Science (ECS). His areas of research expertise include
fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and multidisciplinary analysis and
design. Over the course of his career at SU, Dr. Bogucz has been
principal investigator (or co-PI) on research projects with sponsors
such as the National Science Foundation, NASA, New York State, and
the Carrier Corporation. He currently serves as a director on the
boards of Herley Industries, the New York Indoor Environmental Quality
Center Inc. (NYIEQ),and the Milton J. Rubenstein Museum of Science
and Technology.
